K-9 Dog Centre Midden Nederland is owned by Gerard Dashorst and runs his company together with his staff: Henk Verbeek, Martin Kreeft and Anita Ruttenberg.
Gerard started training dogs in IPO when he was 18 years old, but soon became a member of the KNPV (Royal Dutch Police dog Association). Gerard worked for his fathers construction and designing company until he started his own company in late 1996. Gerard developed and designed exclusive houses and office buildings. Gerard left his fathers company for 2 years when he was 21 years old and worked as a K9 handler for Seceurop Nederland.
Henk Verbeek was a K9 handler in the Dutch Army before he started in May 2002 as a fulltime trainer for K-9 Dog Centre Midden Nederland, Henk became a member and trainer of the Royal Dutch Police Dog Association in 1984 and is a fanatic KNPV dog trainer sins.
Martin Kreeft started as a fulltime trainer and decoy for K-9 Dog Centre Midden Nederland in january 2008. Martin was also working as a Patrol K9 handler, Explosives K-9 handler and was instructor for several security companies. Martin became a member and trainer of the Royal Dutch Police Dog Association in 1994 and became a national certified KNPV decoy in April 1997. Martin is a certified judge for the Dutch Service Dog Association.
